(NO FIDDLE) A song I made up in early spring 2008. It was a pretty day, but windy and still cold to be spring. I made it up while at one of my son's outdoor soccer practices and was cold.

SONG. No fiddle. I got this song from Norman Blake, maybe on one of his Blake/Rice albums. Sad, trad Civil War song. Lots of folks have done it, including Dylan, Garcia, Julie Miller, etc. Me on my D35 and singing. Rough recording with a poor computer mic.

A fiddle tune that I made up a while back. Key of D. Took the name from Constitution Square in Danville, KY where we all used to meet for our fiddle sessions when I lived there. Made some great friends, some of whom have crossed over. Learned some great tunes from some great fiddlers like Jim Gaskin and Lewis Lamb.

I made up this crosstuned waltz about a year ago or so and named it after my wife's grandma. She was my 2nd biggest fan and passed away not long after I got to play this for her on her 90th birthday party. Tuning: AEAE

Here's a tune my son MADE UP and recorded all by himself the other day. He's 15 years old and taught himself to play. Plays by ear, but can read notes, too. He's playing the octave mando and all else in the recording. Hope yall like it.
