What a great tune! What is the source ? I know of 2 other tunes by the same name that I play, so this makes 3. 1 is from the Altamont African American stringband music recording and the 2nd is just another name for the tune " Chucking the brush" . I will have to learn this one

You know what, on closer listening, I thought I heard it before. This is called " Texas Traveler " from the Altamont recording . Apple Blossom is a different tune on that recording.

There are a few different "Apple Blossom" tunes, but this one is one I got from Bruce Greene. Don't know his source, though. This tune could easily be called something else, but I don't know any other titles for it.

Have a listen to the Altamont recording and tell me what you think.
