Here's me accompanied by me again on banjo playing Wayne Erbsen's simple beginner version of Ida Red. Also appearing again my son, who part way through decided he'd like me to quiet down. Not what I'd call smooth playing but a little bit of progress I think/hope.

Experience Level: Just Startin'
Prust fretless banjo
as for fiddles: I'm trying learn on an old but fixed up Jackson Gulden fiddle
The usual: Dock Boggs, Hobart Smith, Bill Monroe, Carl Perkins, Jimmy Bryant, Merle Travis.
I don't have any favorite fiddlers yet, but I expect that'll change.

I was born & expect at some point I'll die. Until then I figure on playing music & raising children.
