Fiddle & bow back from the luthier and ready to play. Both needed extensive & expensive (alas) work.

Yeah, my eldest daughter has been sort of half hearted pursuing fiddling for a while--she plays a 1970s German trade fiddle--so when another fiddle dropped into our laps I decided to learn along with her.
My boy is doing real well. Rambunctious too--Its a real struggle to keep from playing too rough with his sisters & everyone/thing else!
The fiddle is an old unlabeled American, but the luthier said it was a Jackson Gulden based on its construction. He did a great job bringing back to life. Luckily all the problems were external & cosmetic, but a fair amount of labor. The biggest thing was replaning/shaping the fingerboard. Now it looks good and sounds really good. Here's a clip of my sister in law (who can really play) giving it a test drive.
