I grew up in a musical enviroment with both of my parents being world famous opera singers. I was always around classical music and the birth of whats known as classic rock. I started playing violin in 1978 with an interest in country music. Having such an upbringing in rock, the fiddle and violin would would always take part in such styles of music such as these. It wasnt until 2000 that I put kick in my trix with pedal effects playing a dedicated electric violin. Have 9 different violins. Heavily influenced by Vassar Clemments. I always liked blue grass and played it in a closset for a long time because in the state of New Jersey it was a little rough finding other musicians with the same interest. Up until 2000 in New Jersey I played with several bands performing rock off all sorts and country or even what was called americana style of music. In 2005 I moved to southern Delaware, where I was able to meet a variety of musicians playing Blue Grass, classic rock, Indie, americana, blues, you name it. This has enabled me to be anywhere from truditional to fusion as it gets with that wounderful 4 stringed gem of an instument. I can switch choice of instruments for what style of music I will be playing. If it is fusion or classic rock, out comes my Zeta strattos with effects pedals. If its down to acoustic or traditional it will be one of 2 old german one piece back fiddles dry! I played with the Lauren Glick band around the ocean city band as a variety band in genry of music. I play currently with my duo and trio Landers and Heinz also in the ocean city area all the way up to the Pocono region. I also currently play with a wounderful blue grass band, Country Grass in the Berlin Maryland area. I am currently used for recording and as a fill in specialty musician sort of speak around Maryland and Delaware.
