Hey everyone,
Just wanted to let you know that I am still "Hanging Out" at the Hangout. It's been a long time since I posted, mostlybecause I am really busy playing and teaching these days. Played for 40 years, former KS. fiddle champion, composer, teacher of alternative string styles-Private studio, workshop teacher, Contest judge. I teach kids and adults of all ages and ability levels. I have played in a Bluegrass Band called Pastense for over 10 years. I studied classically and I have my degree in violin performance but I haven't played classical much for the last 20 years. I play and enjoy lots of different styles, but I like old-tyme and bluegrass the best. I love to help other fiddlers be better players and to inspire people to pick up a fiddle and learn to play.
