I spent some time today playing for the Salvation Army Bell Ringers. It was really fun! People were so nice and they loved hearing the fiddle music music instead of the tradition "Bell". The lady that was tending the donation bucket seemed to think that during her shift we raised more money today. Whether or not that is true and I hope it is I saw a lot of people smiling. I also used one of my painted fiddles when I was playing. So even if you could make a little more $$ for them it would be worth it.
PS: It was about 50 degrees out. I don't like to play out unless it's over 40 or it's inside. I'm going to see if I can find somewhere inside tomorrow. Nobody cares if you mess up they really like just hearing someone playing.
