I got this from the Roanoke Jug Band of Roanoke Virginia. Fiddle is in GCGD putting it in the key of C, played as though it were in D in ADAE, Tony Holmquist on guitar

This tune is the first track on the 2nd CD of Alan Jabbour's Hollow Rock Legacy 2-CD set. There it is called John Lover's Gone. It sounds good in your alternate tuning - as do all your other postings ;D
