I wrote this song some years back after a visit to the Fiddler's Gathering. It attempts to portray some of the history of the place. There's a monument in the park that gives some of the salient details of the fighting that happened there.

I am not a big fan of ballads, but I have decided that I like this one. I kept hearing the fiddle part and the chorus in my head, Tippecanoe and Tyler too.
