I just love your decor. Your taste in fretted instruments is impeccable. I think that you also need a violoncello barroco da spalla. It has five strings and it's hung by a strap from the player's neck, kind of how you hold your fiddle; it would be handy for multi-track recordings.

Actually, if the camera had been pointing in the opposite direction you would have seen a lot more instruments... On my walls around my desk are, three fiddles, one banjo, two steel string acoustic guitars, on classical guitar, one mandolin, and one electric guitar... the rest are upstairs... seems like a high percentage of musicians older than 40 own and play a bunch of instruments... I like your stack of fiddles in your photo album... I'm glad you like the decor... kind of an easy-going-sloppy, neatish mess... My mother used to say a place like this looks, "lived-in"...
