OOH, this would come in handy! You could probably replace the screws with swing hooks and eyelets like are on the old wooden fiddle cases.

Thanks BJ.. yea you could replace those screws if you wanted to... however all fiddles are not the same thickness so the
adjust-ability of the screws is needed...you want to be able to get that pressure just right...
