Well, I'm not one to over-indulge ... but wait till I tell you :) "Double Whisky" is just 2 tracks of the tune, which I played and recorded on my 4-string Yamaha SV-200 fiddle. It was one of the last recordings I made with this fiddle, before turning to the 5-string. Jim

Just a short piano boogie idea on fiddle .. 5-string fiddle from KC Strings, brand new Obligato strings and an Arcus M4 bow - plus fake (MIDI) piano. Just an idea :) Jim

I posted this before, but just with fiddle. I tried adding various guitar parts to it, but nothing seemed to work, so I eventually added a drums sequence. I'm still not sure if it works or not ... what do you think? Maybe the cymbals and hi-hat are a bit loud in the mix ...

A little tune I wrote myself. Imagine chasing rainbows and missing them because they always move away :)

A bit of a mixture of styles in this one, I guess :) Hard to classify.

This is one of my own comps, played on a 4-string Scott Cao "Kreisler" violin. It's just a quirky little tune, and it only uses the E and A strings.

I recorded this tune without even knowing the name ... I've had it in my head for ages. I do have the music for it somewhere, but I just can't remember the name! Here we go anyway .. :)

Well, sorry about the silly name, but it was all I could think of at the time. It's a tango I wrote, roaming here and there ... hopefully not straying too far from the idea...5-string violin from KC Strings, and Real Guitar software for the guitar part Jim

I wrote this one myself ... all about a fountain, with the water rising up from the pump, then cascading down from the top, then bubbling away as it swirls round the pool at the base :)

One of my own ...the idea is you're walking thru a labyrynth, trying to find your way out ... then you get chased my a big monster, which is chewing and chopping thru the bushes ... but you get out eventually :)

I recorded this one after hear Bela Fleck and his band playing it. I changed the backing on the slow part at the beginning and at the end, but there's standard guitar all through the main part. Playing a William Beard 4-string fiddle and a Martin short 12-fret. Jim

I recorded this after listening to guitarist Tommy Emmanuel playing Guitar Boogie. It's only got a few parts in it at the moment, but I'll come up with more variations over time :) Recorded on a 5-string fiddle, stereo mic'd, with a touch of reverb. Jim
