Primarily interested in playing Old Time, Southern Appalachian style. Not so much Bluegrass, Celtic, Cajun, Texas Swing, New England, Cape Breton, etc., though I respect, very much appreciate, and often listen to the playing of others who enjoy playing in those genres. I prefer that Traditional Old Time Appalachian Round Peak Fiddle style, with all its drones, "scratchiness," cross tunings, and strong rhythmic bowings. Though I can play in Standard Tuning, I much prefer various Cross Tunings to achieve that Old Time Appalachian sound. Also on the Banjo Hangout with the same username.
