I'd been playing for about 5 years.. It was a struggle. Finally, one day at a festival, some experienced fiddler listened to me and gave me this advice..."Just keep doing what you are doing now for the next five weeks. Then, just quit."
Hmmmm. Didn't seem logical at the time, but now, looking back, maybe I should have taken his advice..
