Once again I am craving some new music for my fingers. I am looking for some lesser known music, specifically music composed during the American Civil war. I am a sucker for waltzes. Help.

Daisy Deane 1863 by 2 members of 14th and 19th Regiments Massachusetts Volunteers
Faded Coat of Blue also 1863 (?), the name eludes me right now

I’m not into civil war reenactment but I am a long time buckskinner (pre 1840) so hello brother. I’m not sure of the year it was written but Southern Soldier Boy is a tune I like to play. It has lyrics and a beautiful melody but could be played as a waltz. You may already be familiar with it though.

I've used the following link for various sites at the Library of Congress to find old sheet music
memory.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/S...ns:@field(FLD003+@band(origf+Sheet+Music)):heading=Original+Format%3a+Sheet+Music
