We looked for Months for a dryer to replace the one we had in our closet. It was stackable, efficient, and affordable.. Then the power/button panel started to fail.. first it wouldn't go Power ON, and then it wouldn't Start.. We gave up. We looked online for similar dryers and there were NONE to be had.. Finally, as a last resort, I called a local repair man and asked for an estimated. I said that i Thought I needed an entire power/selection panel... "Get me an estimate and call me back".. I took the dryer's cover off to get a good look at the problem and LOW AND BEHOLD.. the problem wasn't the power panel. It was just that the BUTTONS had pushed the switches out of alignment.. Well, long story short.. I put a piece of baling wire and a couple of wooden wedges in to the device and now we have our dryer back.. It is SO nice to know that being 'handy' is a good thing.. I figure that I saved $500 by fixing it myself.. sooooo. I bought myself $89 worth of fiddle parts... That seems fair, don't you think?
