Hello,
I just purchased a new fiddle, A 1870 Klingenthal Strad-Copy from fellow hand-out member Royce.
Being new to the fiddle I can not describe the tone as elegantly as a more seasoned player, but I can tell
you this, I sure like the way it plays and it sounds great.
I only had it for a week, but My playing has improved. Mainly because the notes I play sound better. Therefor I practice more.
I am still working on my intonation and tone, but I think this is pretty much a life long process that gets better and easier as time goes by.
Soon I will post a new audio file and hopefully it will sound better then the one that it posted now.

Yeah, a great sounding fiddle sure makes it much less painful if you're a practicing beginner!
