The difference is like night and day! I can do things on this instrument I can't on the other one. The tone is smoother, fuller, and the fiddle seems to respond more to bow changes, not as sluggish, its really nice, I almost feel spoiled.

I'll save it for cross-tuning or nose picking....makes a great flotation device as well

Yeah, I won out on this whole thing, maybe just because what I've been playing I guess has actually been so bad....but hey, it got me THIS far LOL!
