Got my new Gliga with the 2 Carbon-Fiber bows packed....it will be here in Argentina 2 Tuesday's from now...so
My new Gliga sure does look purty....my mom thinks I paid $1,000 dollars for it LOL! I noticed that the scroll is carved nice and tight and the pegs seem to be fit pretty good when Looking at it over skype LOL. I guess we'll know whether I bought a keeper or a total piece of Carpathian Spruce/Maple firewood crap.....wait, that's what I have now hahahha! My current Fiddle, although a cheapie has served me well. I paid $100 bucks for it and have had it for 6 months now. I figure it has paid itself off by now in many ways..
I still use my old one, but I'm going to cross tune it and use my Gliga for standard "EYE-talian" tuning stuff. As soon as it's here and I get it set-up, I'll review it. Bear in mind I'm still pretty much a beginner so my review will be based upon my overall inexperience at Fiddle playing....LOL

When you watch a pot full of water on the stove it seems to take FOREVER to come to a boil. You're gonna make the next 2 weeks seem like an eternity if you're not careful ;-)

I saw it again last night....it's made to look antiqued and it does kinda look old....even though it's new. I liked the looks of it, that's why I bought it LOL: I figured "there's know way of knowing how it sounds" so I'll buy something that looks purty and speaks to the ole Kentucky boy on the inside LOL....this was what I bought!
