I filed down the nut some more, recut the string slots alot wider and then lowered the bridge even more. It's much easier to play and the fingerboard is much more comfortable...I am much happier with it and already notice a huge difference. Its not a top notch luthier setup but I am proud of myself....I think I did a pretty good job. I have enough width between the strings to play double stops and I even thinned down the bridge some as well as lowered it.
