Even though I haven't gotten the new strings for my new fiddle yet, I'm slowly compiling some basic info on hot to set up my new fiddle. It appears I have a bit of a high nut and bridge that needs to be filed down and re slotted a bit. Once I do that I think I'm ready to go!
One of my fiddle playing goals is to someday play Tommy Jarrels "Drunken Hiccups" and actually sing it as I play it.....someday at least!
