For fifteen months I have struggled with that thing...reading books, reading online tutorials, asking friends, etc.
I finally managed to contact the fellow who actually wrote the template I had used to build the site (Curt Ziegler). He had me straightened around in about five minutes. What a relief! Wish I had thought of that a year ago!

The slider with the photos is what was missing. Now that I know how to work it I will undoubtedly tinker with it and fine-tune it. But for the moment I am thrilled that it works at all!
Rant over. I'll get back to fiddles, now.
I did do a little on violins, today, but the website has been a thorn in my side for so long. I am profoundly thankful to have it up and running at last!

It's very nice. I've had my own challenges with Wordpress themes but your site looks nicer than the one I made.

I'm glad you like it.
In general, I am pleased with how Wordpress works, but I don't know enough to make it stand up and do the tricks it is designed to do...which is why it took me 15 months to get this one bug ironed out.
There are a few changes I will have to make, still, but at least it is working. :-)
