Enjoyed watching it! Out here it doesn't rain in the summer, so next one should be out here...at Plymouth Fairgrounds...ten minutes from me.

I don't know. I think the mud is part of what makes it a neat experience! Pack your flip-flops and come east next year. : )

Thanks for that really interesting slide show and witty comments. I'd love to go there one day, but Australia is a little distant from WV. If you're from Chicago, you must know and play with Charlie Walden? Doesn't he hold court and play at Clifftop?

I don't know Charlie very well, but I took a few lessons from him when I was trying to figure out what style I wanted to play. He was really helpful and I learned something important from him about dance groove but I'm so not a Missouri-style fiddler! I did have a chance to play in the back row of an open band that he led once, though. Lots of fun! I'm the one you can't see. : ) And yup. He has a happening camp at Clifftop.
I'm glad you enjoyed the slides. I just wish that I had taken a wider variety of photos but my iPhone battery kept dying with the phone searching for a signal. The good part about that was that I got lots of practice time in at the recharging station. : )
If you ever get a chance to go to Clifftop, go! I had a great experience and I suspect it will just get better every time I make the trek. See you next year?!
