It's week two in Wells, NV and this is the showtime week.
Thursday evening join me for a concert and bbq at the Welcome RV stop just west of town.
Friday is workshops and an evening fundraiser for the Senior Center. They do a spaghetti feed AND a HOT FIDDLE contest. Sign up and win!
Saturday is the Nevada State Fiddle Contest. I'll be judging again this year.
Sunday it's off for Weiser, ID. I pick Miss Jennifer up in Boise on the way and can't wait to see her!
We do a Banjo workshop there at Stickerville on Tuesday morning. See yall there!
Wednesday we head out so Miss Jennifer can fly home and I'll continue on to the Rolland Family Fiddle Camp in Westcliffe, CO the following week. I'll be teaching Clawhammer Banjo there and perhaps some old time fiddle as well.
Working on a stop in Salida, CO for a Jam Friday the 21st on route.
... AND after the Fiddle Camp I head over to our Ohio place for the month of July. I am taking students for most of the month and Miss Jennifer will come over to meet up and see the ol' place mid month. Got to decide if it is time to sell it. Tough decision but we really don't get there very much any more. Been like two years!
Then as August hits, it is on to Siloam Springs, AR for the Second Saturday Concert there and two weeks later to Mountain View, AR where I, Miss Jennifer and Guitar Buzzard Miss Annie teach a 2 day jam camp.
Phew, so do you want to know that we will be going over to Strawberry Festival for Laborday Weekend to help Dana T. at the Music Caravan before heading home for a month's rest before heading up to Seattle. YES, the fun just seems to go on and on! I'm tellin' ya though, once that October trip is over it's home in Yuma for the rest of the year! Thinking about a banjo/fiddle camp there this year too...
