The new recording of South Mountain Sunrise is a collaboration with Bret Sinclair, a guitarist & composer in London. Bret took the chord changes and structure of South Mountain Sunrise, a tune of mine that I wrote in 1991, and expanded it to be a feature for electric guitar and keyboards. I think of it as Scottish-Rock fusion.
This is a new direction for my music as I usually work with acoustic instruments. However, I'm quite happy with how this piece turned out.
Please give it a listen.
