As usual, I've got the holiday blues, and as usual, playing and teaching my fiddle make me feel better. Playing duets of Christmas music with my students always makes me feel great. Teaching fiddle / violin is a kind of minstry for me. I'm glad that I have extended my reach to lonesome fiddlers all over the world by teaching with Skype. I wish everyone happy hoidays with lots of good music.

Happy holidays to you Pauline. The fiddle has a way of making you feel good. Playing or listening it's good for the soul. I had a great fiddle practice today. I was relaxed and let the music flow out of my body and thru the fiddle. I love those kind of days.

yes, teaching/giving to others is the cure for the holiday blues. I hope you had a blessed Christmas.

Thanks, Mudbug. I had Christmas dinner with friends, and that was special and very good.
