The fiddle plays well, and sounds good, quite well balanced considering I could not find the five-string set I bought especially for this instrument, so I had to use a set of Dominants and a Dominant Viola C string. But is sounds good, so I expect getting the right strings and tailpiece will make it even better.

If you were here, I'd have you play and record something, so I could post it...people keep asking, but have neither the knowhow, nor the skill. Guess I need to find a local player to accommodate that lack. Have to look into that.
