New here! What do I do?
Also, I'm about 100 tunes into a project learning a new tune about everyday. Check it out at http://newtuneaday.blogspot.com.

I don't know. What would you like to accomplish? Besides learning a new tune daily, that is. That's quite an accomplishment in itself. I can't remember an old tune just about any day of the week, let alone learning new ones. I keep trying, of course.
Check out the forums, first. According to your bio, your interests lie in jamming, helping, teaching, socializing. There is a lot of call for all of that in the forums.
I've only been to Utah once, at Indian Creek by Moab. I spent a remarkable week rock-climbing. I didn't see much else of the state. Real nice people, I thought. One of my last great road trips.

Well thanks, I will check all that out. Moab is a great place, I love it there. I'm up in northern Utah next to Idaho and now's the time of year I wish I could hibernate until May. Bitter cold!! :(
What I'd like to accomplish? Well I'm moving to the DC area next year (in July/Aug) and I'd really like to build up some contacts out that way.
Thanks boxbow, take care.

Welcome, Katie! Well you can blog (like you did), you can go on the forums and give your oppinion on issues facing all of us, beginners to experts. You can watch vids and comment. You can post MP3's of yourself playing. You can buy and sell things. You can check the calender for fiddle events near you, or search the members list for folks who live where you do or area's you will be visiting......or you can lurk!
