Hey there fiddlers,
My latest FiddlinMike.com lesson is on the Peacock Rag, a great tune written by Arthur Smith (author of Blackberry Blossom). I've uploaded a YouTube clip of the lesson here on the Fiddle Hangout so that you can all get a taste of it. If you are already a Gold Member at FiddlinMike.com you might notice that I have included backup tracks with the lesson, so you can crack up the volume and practice the tune along with my guitar playing. Just one more feature to help you all along with your playing.
If you're not a member at FiddlinMike.com yet then you should sign up pronto. Members get access to my archive of fiddle lessons, which includes lessons videos, sheet music, and now backup tracks. I update the site with a new lesson every week, so you essentially are getting weekly lessons from me. Now is a good time to sign up because if you sign up during the month of September you get your first month of lessons for free.
Keep fiddlin, and I hope you enjoy the Peacock Rag!
Fiddlin Mike
