The Illinois State Old Time Fiddle Contest is coming up soon! It will be on October 16th in Effingham, IL. If anyone is interested in more information about the contest, go to www.illinoisoldtimefiddlers.org. I hope to see lots of Illinois fiddlers from throughout the state!

While we would love to play with you sometime, the contest rules say that you must be an Illinois resident. :( However, I hope that someday the contest weekend will grow into a much much bigger event with jams, concerts, workshops, and more. Similar to the Indiana Fiddlers Gathering or other great tradional festivals!
