Backup TAPES? Extra hard drives, ZIP drives, USB drives, CDs, and DVDs seem much nicer to deal with than tapes. Nevertheless, kudos for salvaging everything, especially your music files.

I'll resist the temptation to say "Shoulda bought a Mac" here.... wait, I guess I just said it! *S* Seriously, I'm glad you didn't lose anything. My husband's PC is so full of adware, spyware and viruses, I'm surprised there's anything left on it that actually works!
