Well I decided now that I have got the bow grip down ectra: I would start on the "The Fiddlers Red Book of Scales & Arpeggios" by Gordon Stobbe. I downloaded the amazing slow-downer onto my computer and now the work really begins. There are 150 exercises in this book to work through. They seem pretty extensive and hopefully will help me to improve some more. I will continue to practice my bowing and bow grip daily....So the journey begins......

Congrats! I ordered a different books of scales and don't understand what I'm supposed to do. Please let me know if this book is a good one. I have the bowing dvd too, need to get into it more...still working on intonation, but I know I have neglected my bowing. Congrats! And please keep us posted on your progress!
