Wow, over a year has passed and lots of great things have been happening lately!! I moved back to Maryland to get serious about my life. I've decided to go back to school and study to be an Ultrasound Technician. I have wanted to do this since I graduated high school, but life happened and things got in the way. I don't want to spend the rest of my life behind a desk!
Musically, everything is much better since I moved out to western Maryland. My sister and I got invited to play on The Johnny Daniels Bluegrass show in Nashville, TN. We left on March 31st and played in the TV studio on April 1. We played 4 shows, 2 songs each. The show airs on PBS Channel 19 in Nashville (Davidson County) and some surrounding areas. It will air for 8 weeks and started on Sunday, April 3. We met some other great musicians and had a fun time!

I guess he liked us and has been getting a lot of good feedback because he invited us back to be on the show again! We're planning to go back sometime this Fall and invite my boyfriends band "The Shadow Drifters" to back us up this time. They're from east Tennessee, all students at ETSU and have a great , original sound. We don't have a full band, so most of our songs were all duets, with the exception of some help from our Father. He played guitar on the instrumentals and a few songs we do that we got from him when he used to play with his brother.
