This is to tell the fiddle community on this site how much I appreciate you. I'm kind of different in not being a fiddle player....but, I have a great love for the fiddle and fiddle music of various styles. And, I realize that some of my tunes are kind of different.
All of that said, since I joined Fiddle Hangout at the beginning of February the recordings of my tunes have received a total of over 1,000 plays. Myspace and Facebook/Reverbnation are choking on your dust! And, I've made some friends. Joining Fiddle Hangout was one of the best things I've done for myself this year.
I hope to have a new batch of recordings in a few weeks. Amy Leonard (violin) will be featured on all of the tunes. They will include a new tango and a reworking of 3 previously-recorded tangos with violin, keyboards (using accordion patch), guitar, and bass. No drums. There will also be a bossa nova lullaby....yes, you heard that right (ha ha). Stay tuned!
Again, many thanks for making me feel welcome and for listening to my tunes.

Stay tuned? How dare you! That comment was directed at me, I'll vouchsafe. I try and tune, y' know, at least once every six months, so I'm doing my part.

C'mon Humbled, don't be so defensive. Anyhow Roger we're glad to have your participation here. We welcome everyone...even bluegrass players. I'm looking forward to your next recordings.
