Well it's that time again. How many of us really reflect back on the year? Do we plan to make resolutions that most likely we won't really keep? How many new songs did we learn...probably half of what we wanted to!
Oh well. another year is upon us and I am thankful for making it to this juncture, with my health somewhat still in tact, made some new friends, lost some old ones.
Marilyn and I will spend a quiet evening together, seeing who will fall asleep before midnight, maybe watch a few movies. We got some family coming over for supper on New Years day, that's nice.
So, let's not forget old aquaitances as we usher in our new ones. Let's be a little kinder to those who have been not so kind to us, maybe they just don't know us well enough yet. Let's try to share our music a little more this coming year with those who really need the uplift, and let's be a little more forgiving of ourselves if that tune just doesn't come out quite right.
From our house to yours: HAPPY NEW YEAR and may the Lord's continence shine upon you.
AJ
