And so ends year 11

Posted by Irish Violin on Friday, September 24, 2010

I now begin to realise how quickly life passes us by, and this is coming from a 16 year old. With the end of the NSW school term, I end year 11 and preliminary HSC and move onto year 12 and HSC. The year has gone so quickly already and it hasn't finished yet.

And so begins a "new" year for me in terms of schooling. In a year's time, I will be sitting my HSC and finding a university to get into. Then I will reach my university years and then graduate and so forth. By the time I reach 30 I will look back at the years and see how quickly they had gone past me. My music will always be with me no matter what. I just can't quite grasp the concept of time and how much we have.

Good that you've recognised this early. It seems to take forever getting through the 12 grades of primary "education". Once having gotten through that, the next twenty years will go by so quickly that one wonders how it was possible. And then thirty years . . . and then forty years, etc.

Indeed, dont waste a minute of it . . . and, far too much of the "education" process does just that.
