Links to three fiddle camps in the New England area. These are not the only ones around, but they are the three camps I know about.
Maine Fiddle Camp - http://www.mainefiddle.org/
- Affordable and down to earth. This is the one camp I have attended, and it is quite the rustic musical experience. Volunteer slots and tuition grants are available for those who are short on funds. Site has a number of audio files from previous tune workshops available for free download.
Boston Harbor Scottish Fiddle School - http://scottishfiddleschool.org/
- a bit pricey for the camp, but I suppose the fact it is on an island in Boston Harbor might have something to do with it. The site has the past 7 camp tune collections available for free download.
Meadowlark Music Camp - http://www.meadowlarkmusiccamp.com/
- pricey, nothing free, but some pretty pictures and the usual camp info.
