Ok ,so I've been fiddling for about 2 months and believe it or not everything seems to be falling in place.
I can now play Soldiers Joy at speed, Maiden's Prayer, Amazing Grace with a little Vibrato even & Cripple Creek.
I'm starting on Kentucky Waltz & Blackberry Blossom.
Later I am gonna work on Sailor's Hornpipe & Cluck Old Hen
I figure in a year I should be Fiddling real good as once I start something I don't quit. It's not in my nature.
I do have a question about Hofner Fiddles. Are they any good? and are they worth anything monetarily?
I found several and am thinking bout buying one that was made in 1965
Well that's all fer now.

Congradulations on sticking with it. You got some good tunes there.

Congratulations on your tune list! I have an old Hofner from the '20s or 30's that was pretty beat up when I got it. I've done quite a bit of work and now it really does sound sweet. I would be surprised if they were really worth any money. I only say that because Murphy's law states (somewhere) that if I own one then....... Have fun regardless what you choose to do.
