It's so annoying to only know what's happening in your own country and even then we don't get the full story. The stuff that happens in Oz are usually told from a biased perspective and we still only get half the story.
As for world news we only get about a quarter of the story and most of the news we get is from America. How much is it to ask for more than just stuff happening in your own backyard?

I don't know. I think the news is overrated. I've never read the papers, although I delivered them as a kid. I don't have a tv, so I get anything that I NEED to know off the radio and internet. People who watch too much news always seem too depressed. When you only get a little, just the main stuff filters though.

Al Jazeera : Global news network that provides different perspective views from ALL sides. Great unbiased news network ( second only to FOX )....IMHO.
