The News

Posted by Irish Violin on Friday, February 5, 2010

It's so annoying to only know what's happening in your own country and even then we don't get the full story. The stuff that happens in Oz are usually told from a biased perspective and we still only get half the story.

As for world news we only get about a quarter of the story and most of the news we get is from America. How much is it to ask for more than just stuff happening in your own backyard?

I don't know. I think the news is overrated. I've never read the papers, although I delivered them as a kid. I don't have a tv, so I get anything that I NEED to know off the radio and internet. People who watch too much news always seem too depressed. When you only get a little, just the main stuff filters though.

A very good point. I'd still like to know more than just what's said!!!

Well, you could always check the Al Jazeera website for a different perspective. :-P

Al Jazeera : Global news network that provides different perspective views from ALL sides. Great unbiased news network ( second only to FOX )....IMHO.
