Well, it's Jan 17th - I have no idea of what the passing few months were like, except that with the economy hitting tenants and all, it has been more like trying to run two motels - everytime I turn around someone is leaving moving in - no time to breathe -
And we are getting 5 storms coming in - the first has brought more snow as of an hour ago, and it's COLD! LOL!
Yes, been playing, and clawhammering - - and last week out of the blue became a beginning folkdancer - The Danish Shoemaker's Dance, and one about a guy who trades a fiddle for a cow, and the neighbors get mad and make him trade back - (both great ring dances! So Any well known Scandinavian folk songs with nitation or mp3s, tec - - I can't look them up easily because I have no idea of the names of the tunes, or what is a comfy one that "everyone grew up knowing"
(yes, my Norske language is about 1000 years out of date)
I did find some great old ballads on youtube (medieval norse) and a great dance site, some that have mp3s - but I am still trying to figure out what a set of general populace songs might be -
Meanwhile, I am running amuck, and really getting into the "no knead" bread baking - artesian loaves!
(the price of bread here is way out of bounds - and I can bake it for a few pence.)
Jen!

Aha! Another Mother Earth News fan! I've been baking 95% of my own bread for over a year now. Ain't it grand?

I will try to be more active - still haven't gotten any good news on eye - (all funding seems to be in stasis - and although 55, don't seem to qualify for anything - the gray age -
