Well, my next lesson is tomorrow and I created 3 new MP3s of my latest doings. I did the Tennessee Waltz to compare from almost 2 weeks ago. I am most proud of being able to get thru all that I remember of Golden Slippers.
I have to say that learning songs by ear is not only good for ya, but it's fun and a challenge. When you get it, even before it sounds that great, it's a great feeling of accomplishment.
I added 2 new fiddlers to my favorites list. I really like Chubby Wise and watched a few clips on youtube yesterday. He sort of the Burl Ives of fiddling.
Also, Benny Martin seemed like quite the showman and fiddler. I also will list today's favorite song and one I hope to learn someday as "Me and My Fiddle". There is something about it that reminds me of another favorite "Maple Sugar".
Until next time...
