The 'Ramblers' is a trio that formed in Summer '08. How? Why? It's a rather long complicated story that I'd rather share over a beer sometime. We weren't meant to be together for more than a few sessions of practice and a few sessions of recording a CD. The CD was actually the dream of the fellow who funded the whole project, though he isn't a member of the group. But the three of us are grateful to Chuck Reynolds for bringing us together. The 'us' by the way, is Virginia King (guitar & vocal), Mark Kortbein (banjo), and myself on fiddle. We recorded 7 songs as a trio. We had a playlist of 10 songs originally, but Chuck couldn't get permission for three of them, so Virginia quickly recorded 3 songs herslf to fill out the playlist. I have uploaded two songs to my page here: DARLIN' CORY and WILL THE CIRCLE BE UNBROKEN.
If you like these songs and you want to hear more, contact me by email and I'll give you the rest of the set list and let you know how you can get a copy of the CD.

Very nice overall sound, Bruce. Your singer has a beautiful voice.
Ah yes, some of my fondest high school memories are connected with a Rambler, otherwise known as a "Kenosha Cadillac!"

On behalf of the 2009 BLOOMIN DAYS COMMITTEE:
A huge THANK YOU for helping us in making Kenosha Bloomin Days 09 blossom
Despite the clouds and rain on Saturday, the streets were filled with great music. It takes a lot of planning and dedication to bring Kenosha Bloomin Days to life, but we could not do it without you. Please accept our heartfelt thanks.
