I am so excited that the Illinois Old Time Fiddlers gathering today had such a good turnout. It was by far the best turnout for way over a year! We had a wonderful variety of fiddlers. From the just beginning to those that most of us wish we could play like.
The state contest is rapidly approaching. On Saturday, Sept. 1st we could use all the fiddlers we can get to play in three performances throughout the day. Then on Sunday, Sept. 2nd we will hold the actual contest. All of this is at Rockome Gardens. We are hoping for a great crowd!
