Violin repair and Bow Rehair

If you live near the tri-state area of Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia and need a bow rehaired, you'll find out there isn't anyone who does a very good job and they still charge way too much. I am a player who understands what other players want, not just a woodworker. Now I have several years experience helping others get their violins and bows in top working order. Hey Michael,

Welcome to the forum. I've had a chance to see and hear several YouTube clips of you fiddling - "No Corn on Tygart", I think and a few others... I enjoyed'em all.

Don't need a bow re-haired at the moment. But it'll happen some time in the next year. When it does, I'll try to figure out how to get it down to you - though I'd need some advice on how ship a bow.

Thanks for listening! I see we both enjoy listening to the old Ed Haley recordings. I'm sure you could find plenty of qualified bow re-hair specialist closer to your area, but I have done a few orders by mail. They just sent me the bows in a pvc pipe and it worked out great. Keep in touch!

Hi Michael,

I too have enjoyed your YouTube videos.
Interesting that you posted "Black Eyed Peas and Cornbread".
That's the first one I saw.
And I have to say, the way you use the bow reminds me a lot of the way
I use the bow- would you possibly be up for some bowing discussions?
If not, that's okay too-
I tend to geek out on bowing!
