Violet Hensley is a wonderful old time fiddler as was her father. I have had the pleasure to meet & play fiddle with her. She is also a pretty good fiddle maker. Hilly<

Wow! I am now a fan. Did you see hear fiddlin' with her fiddle atop her head? Alright, so she's doing this stuff into her 90's. I guess I don't need to rush things....

I shore duz Terry....did'nt even relise hit nether till I left home bout tha age of 13 ta go to a H.S. boarding school where iz met many strange talkin fureners....they'z in tha minority tho cuz most'a us students there wuz po folk frum tha Ozarks too. Fiddle barefoot ?....hek i'z barefoot till i'z bout 6 yrs old startin my schoolin. Why my feet wuz so calloused I cud break up dirt clods behind tha turnin plow wit my bare feet. I shore disliked wearin them shoe at furst cuz they gived me toe-jam.
