Well after leaving my instructor totally confused last month, I did a turn around this month. I actually think I confused him again, but in a good way. I think he intended on working alot on notes and was a bit dumbfounded when I nailed the tunes he had me working on. Anyway, now he has me working on tunes out of the Fiddlers Fakebook. These tunes are a lot more complicated lookin than the ones I have been doing with my instruction book. BTW, I did get him to work on chords with me. I called Oprah, Dr Phil and the Dahli Llama after that last jam session, they all recommended I practice my chords.

Congratulations. Aren't you proud of yourself. Glad your consultants gave you some good advice..I guess anyway. I've not figured out what I'm suppose to do with chords anyway, so if you find out let me know.

Did you REALLY call the Dalai Llama?
Actually, he has an ashram not that far from me. It's bizarre, since it's across the road from a flea market I sometimes pick. There you are amidst the dusty rusty tools, old furniture, tupperware, almost antiques and household castoffs, and you're in the Pennsylvania Countryside, and you look across the road, and there, off in the trees, is a Tibetan Temple Spire. Looks like Earrings on a Sow. Anyway, he's only in residence there when he's touring the US once a year.
