It's still too early to determine if my recent foot surgery (7/20) was a success, but I'm hopeful. I was restricted to the couch for 5 days (actually, the doctor said 7, but 5 was all I could tolerate) and spent much of the time playing my fiddle and dulcimer and learning tunes on my brand new mandolin.
I'm off the crutches now, and related to wearing that clutzy air cast boot. At least I can drive again. Can't wait to be able to tap my foot to the music!
