This weekend is the official release of Old-time Sweethearts!
Old-Time Sweethearts features 24 of the best old-time musicians in the country and a “bakers dozen” of tunes on volumes 1 & 2. From the Ithaca sound of Jeff & Judy Hyman, the foot-stomping dance-tunes of Earl White & Adrienne Davis, Carter family and swing-duets of Cathy Fink & Marcy Marxer, ballads and laments from Elizabeth Laprelle & Brian Dolphin, Midwest tunes and soulful singing of Betse Ellis & Clarke Wyatt, Old-Time Sweethearts has something for everyone. Digital copies are available at Bandcamp and physical copies can be ordered from www.Dittyville.com. Part of the proceeds from OTS will go towards youth scholarships to music camps Augusta and the Swannanoa Gathering Old-Time Weeks.
