Just joined BH and I'm looking forward to learning from everyone. I am mostly interested in learning double stops and the progression. I can play most doubles tops, however, I have no clue what the chord is and what chords are commonly played together in a given song. I consider myself an intermediate player but have neglected my education in this area relying mostly on my playing by ear. Anyone that knows the best way for me to proceed I'd really like to hear from you.

Learn where the notes are on the fiddle and their names, understand the structure of chords and their note names. Seek out common chord progressions. Then give your self some time to put it all together.

Not sure what Lawrence Andrews is trying to communicate. It certainly doesn’t address the questions I have. Hopefully, someone that understands my questions can respond accordingly. “Dissertation Writing Help” does not address my questions.
