Hi Fiddle Hangout Friends,
Online Workshops this Sunday, August 25th. They are the last ones we will give on www.ConcertWindow.com that has decided to wind up it's platform after 10 amazing years.
Hope you can join us!
We will be teaching one of our very favorite tunes: Carroll County Blues in the key of G. I learned my version first-hand from Missouri fiddler, Bob Holt and it has a bit of me in the version too. The tune brought us some luck this August at Clifftop. Old Drake won 3rd place traditional stringband and Carroll County Blues got us into the finals. Here's when are workshops are tomorrow:
1pm Old-Time Banjo with Carl (All times EST Virginia time zone)
3pm Old-Time Fiddle with Erynn
5pm Old-Time Mandolin with Carl
7pm Guitar Back-up in G/ playing on a crooked tune with Carl
To join in go to www.concertwindow.com, donate $10 and watch at the scheduled time. You can see us, we can't see you but you can ask us questions in real time in the text blog.
